File Transfer Screen
Operation Manual
1. Launching and
Returning to the Screen
- The file transfer screen (
FileActivity) is launched
from the “Send” button on the previous screen.
- Tapping the Back button ↩︎️ in the upper left corner
of the screen closes the file transfer screen and returns to the
previous screen.
2. Displaying the Photo List
- A preview of the photos is displayed on the screen.
- If permission has not been granted, a read dialog will appear.
Please grant permission by selecting “Allow”.
3. Display Filter Switching
- You can narrow down the display according to the status in the XML
using the radio buttons at the bottom of the screen:
- Not Sent (“Not Sent”)
- Sent (“Sent”)
- Both (“Both”)
- Switching the selection will reload only the photos with the
corresponding status.
4. Select All/Deselect All
- Tapping the Select All button will select all
images in the list.
- Tapping the Deselect button will clear all selected
images.
5. Checking the Number of
Selected Items
- You can check the number of currently selected items in real time
using the “〇 items selected” text at the bottom of the screen.
6. Start File Sending
- Tapping the Send button will register the selected
images as upload targets in the internal session and start processing
with the configured cloud service.
- A separate contract with each cloud service is required from the
user. Generally, for photo files of about one construction project
(several GB), the free tier is often sufficient.
- Service-Specific Operation:
- Box → Authentication (first time only) → Folder
Selection (selection only) → Upload
- Dropbox → Authentication (first time only) → Folder
Selection (selection only) → Upload
- Google Drive → Not supported.
- *The destination folder for photos must be created in advance by
accessing each cloud service. This application does not support folder
creation.
7. Behavior After Upload
Completion
- Box and Dropbox perform uploads after folder selection, and upon
completion, the following behavior occurs:
- A toast notification “All files uploaded” is displayed.
- The screen returns to the original screen, and the cloud service
screen is closed.
8. Notes
- File operations after transfer (viewing, sharing, deleting, etc.)
depend on the UI of each cloud service.
- Please create the save folder in advance on your
device and the cloud service.
- You must have completed account acquisition and
authentication settings for each cloud service.
9. Location of Photo
Files on Your Device
- Both photos with and without a blackboard are saved on the device
itself.
- *If “No Blackboard” is set in the settings, there will be two photos
without a blackboard.
- The app’s photo display screen is fixed to show only photos with a
blackboard.
- Storage Location:
- There is a folder called Pictures or Images in the device’s top
folder (main storage, local, SDCard, or 0).
- They are saved there.
- *This is different from the camera folder (generally DCIP).
- Photos with Blackboard
- They are located in the StampedImages folder within
Pictures/Images.
- Photos without Blackboard
- They are located in the CameraX-Image folder within
Pictures/Images.
