Settings Screen Operation
Manual
This manual explains the three tabs in
SetCameraActivity: Camera Settings, Blackboard Settings,
and Other Settings (ETC Settings).
1. Camera Settings Tab
Use this tab to configure settings related to taking photos.
1.1 Display and Operation
- Select the 📷 Camera Settings tab at the top of the
screen.
- Tap an item to open its dialog or picker and select a setting.
1.2 Settings
- Camera Orientation
- Select Automatic, Fixed Landscape, or Fixed Portrait.
- Tap the item, select a radio button, and tap [OK].
- The default is Automatic.
- Photo Resolution
- Select from eight resolutions, such as 4000×3000 or 1920×1080.
- Higher resolutions produce larger files.
- Photo Quality
- Select Standard or High Definition.
- Photo File Format
- Volume Button Function
- Assign the volume buttons to the shutter, zoom, or device
volume.
- Add Location Information
- When enabled, GPS information is added to the photo’s EXIF
data.
- When disabled, GPS information is not added. If the blackboard is
also hidden in Blackboard Settings, the result is a normal photo without
location information.
- Date and Time Setting
- Available with the Full-Featured version.
- This is equivalent to setting the date and time on a digital
camera.
- Tap the item, select the date and time, and tap [OK].
- Future dates and times cannot be selected and must be entered
again.
2. Blackboard Settings Tab
Use this tab to configure the blackboard display and the blackboard
information added to photos.
2.1 Display and Operation
- Select the 📝 Blackboard Settings tab at the top of
the screen.
2.2 Settings
- Blackboard Display
- ON: Displays the blackboard in the shooting preview.
- OFF: Hides the blackboard.
- Add Blackboard Information to Photos
- ON: Saves photos with blackboard information.
- The default is OFF.
- Also Save a Photo Without the Blackboard
- ON: Saves a separate photo without the blackboard in addition to the
photo with the blackboard.
- The default is ON.
- Default Blackboard Size
- Select Extra Large, Large, Medium, Small, or Mini.
- Default Font Size
- Select Extra Large, Large, Medium, or Small.
- Blackboard Color
- Select Blue-Green 1–2, Green 1–2, Gray 1–2, White, or Black.
- Date Format
- Select from Japanese era, Gregorian year, month/day, and other
formats.
- Authenticity Method
- Select None, MLIT, or C2PA.
- The Japanese version displays “国交省” where non-Japanese versions
display “MLIT.”
- Selecting MLIT or C2PA also enables the setting that adds blackboard
information to photos.
- C2PA is an international technical standard for attaching verifiable
information about a photo’s creator and provenance to the photo.
- As of July 2026, the C2PA feature is an experimental
implementation.
3. Other Settings Tab (ETC
Settings)
Use this tab to configure cloud services, the photographer name
recorded in C2PA, your Web My Page account, and advertising privacy.
3.1 Display and Operation
- Select the ETC Settings tab at the top of the
screen.
3.2 Settings
- Cloud Service to Use
- Select Box or Dropbox.
- You must obtain and manage the cloud service account yourself.
- Box
- Dropbox
- Photographer Name (Optional)
- Enter the photographer name to be recorded in photos taken using
C2PA.
- C2PA is an international technical standard that attaches verifiable
creator and provenance information to a photo, making its origin and
authenticity easier to confirm.
- This field is optional. The photographer name is not recorded in
C2PA information unless C2PA is selected as the Authenticity
Method.
- As of July 2026, the C2PA feature is an experimental
implementation.
- Register My Page Account
- This feature is available exclusively with the Full-Featured
(Premium) version.
- My Page is a web service linked to the app that lets you view and
manage photos, My Boards, Mamezu diagrams, and other data by
construction project.
- Register the email address and password used to sign in to My
Page.
- The registered email address does not have to be the same as the
Google Account used to purchase the Full-Featured version. You may
register any email address that you can receive and manage.
- After registration, sign in from My Page.
- Advertising Privacy Settings
- Review or change advertising privacy settings required by laws in
the United States and the European Union.
- The displayed information and available choices vary depending on
your region and consent status.
Tap the Back button (← in the upper-left corner) to
close the Settings screen and return to the previous screen.
